About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In the dimly lit lobby of Chase Bank, a little girl pointed excitedly at something on the wall. 'Mommy,' she whispered, 'why is that painting breathing?' The mother looked closer and smiled. ‘Honey,’ she said gently, ‘that’s not a painting—it’s just an old oil portrait of our friendly neighborhood banker, Mr. Jenkins.’ The girl tilted her head curiously. ‘But Mommy, he looks like he’s winking at us!’ And indeed, for a moment it seemed as if the portrait had twinkled ever so slightly in acknowledgment.
2. A delivery driver swiped his card and grumbled, ‘This Chase Bank is slower than molasses on a winter morning.’ Suddenly, the ceiling tiles above him began to gently sway in time with his words. The delivery driver blinked, then cleared his throat and said louder for everyone to hear, ‘And their Wi-Fi is slower than my grandma’s internet!’ Immediately, the ceiling tiles stopped moving, and an old man behind the counter smiled and nodded knowingly. The driver shook his head and muttered under his breath, ‘Guess I’ll just wait here until they catch up to syrup-speed banking.’
3. In the quiet hallway outside Chase Bank, a small dog paused mid-stroll. Its nose twitched as if sniffing invisible breadcrumbs, then it turned sharply towards the entrance, tail wagging excitedly. Suddenly, the door opened with a gentle click and an elderly gentleman emerged, adjusting his glasses. He smiled warmly at the dog, saying, 'Good day, little friend! Must be your lucky day—I've just found a quarter in here!' The dog's eyes lit up like Christmas lights, and he wagged even harder, clearly thinking he'd struck canine gold. The old man chuckled and walked off, leaving the dog pondering whether banks really were full of hidden treasures.
4. At Chase Bank, an elderly gentleman carefully counted his change. Suddenly, over the intercom came a voice: 'Ladies and gentlemen, could Mr. Moneybags please report to Customer Service?' Mr. Moneybags looked around sheepishly, realizing he was indeed the wealthiest customer in the bank that day. The teller smiled warmly and said, ‘Sir, you’ve been our most generous patron today—we even named your account “Chase Infinity.”’ Everyone burst out laughing, including Mr. Moneybags himself.
