About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a delivery driver pulled up outside Morgan & Morgan and asked himself aloud: ‘What if I leave my truck’s headlights on overnight?’ The next morning, when he returned, the parking lot was empty except for his own truck, glowing like a beacon in the sunrise. A friendly neighbor walked over and said, 'Nice lights you’ve got there!'
2. One day, a small dog wandering down the street paused outside Morgan & Morgan. Suddenly, he started barking furiously at an empty office door. Inside, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked puzzled. A lawyer leaned out curiously and asked, ‘What’s going on here?’ The dog paused for a moment, then ran over to a stack of old documents and began frantically digging through them. Finally, he pulled out an ancient briefcase, shook it once, and ran back outside—leaving behind a perplexed receptionist muttering, ‘I guess dogs really do know law.’
3. Late one Friday afternoon, an anxious neighbor rushed into Morgan & Morgan's lobby, frantically whispering something about a lost parrot. ‘It’s gone!’ she hissed. ‘Our beloved Polly’s disappeared!’ The lawyers looked up from their papers, puzzled but amused. Finally, one of them said, ‘Ma’am, maybe your parrot just found another firm.’
4. Early in the morning, before the first coffee had been brewed, a mysterious figure dressed entirely in black entered Morgan & Morgan’s empty lobby. The figure approached the reception desk and asked for a glass of water. Startled, the receptionist replied, 'We’re closed.' The stranger smiled enigmatically and said, 'Just one more case then,' before disappearing into thin air. Since that day, some employees claim to hear whispers of ‘just one more case’ whenever they finish their last cup of coffee.
