About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver rushed into Wells Fargo with an urgent package. As he signed the logbook, everyone noticed something odd—his pen wrote backwards. Everyone watched in amazement as his pen scribbled out backward letters on the page. The manager quickly called for a janitor’s eraser, but before they could clean it up, the driver calmly said, 'Don’t worry, I always use this pen.' Then he turned around and wrote a perfect signature on the front of the envelope.
2. In the dead of night, a lone figure in a trench coat darted across the street and slipped through the back door of Wells Fargo. Inside, the security lights flickered ominously as footsteps echoed down empty corridors. Suddenly, from around the corner came a sleepy delivery driver, humming an old folk tune. Startled, the figure dropped his briefcase, which contained nothing but coffee cups and donuts for the staff meeting. The driver chuckled and said, ‘Late again, huh?’
3. At lunchtime, a regular walked into Wells Fargo carrying a small cardboard box. The teller looked up curiously as he placed it on the counter and whispered something strange into the microphone. The teller leaned in closer, listening intently. After a moment, she nodded and quietly replied, ‘Don’t worry, sir, that’s just our new security protocol for rare coin deliveries.’ The man smiled sheepishly and picked up his box, muttering under his breath, ‘I should’ve known better than to bring my numismatic treasure trove here during lunch hour.’
4. At closing time, an elderly gentleman approached the Wells Fargo counter and asked the teller, ‘Do you accept deposits in gold coins?’ The teller smiled warmly and replied, ‘Of course, sir!’ The old man then reached into his pocket and pulled out a single dime. ‘Is that gold?’ he asked with a twinkle in his eye. Everyone burst out laughing as the day ended on a note of good humor.
