1. One morning, a delivery driver noticed something odd in the bank’s parking lot—a small wooden bird perched on top of one of the cars. No one seemed to notice or mind, so he drove off, thinking it must be someone's prank. But every day after that, more and more birds appeared—all different colors and sizes—until soon they were everywhere around the bank. Finally, the manager decided to close early one day and wait inside for the source. Sure enough, just before closing time, an old man with a big smile walked up carrying a basket full of colorful birds. ‘I saw these little guys flying around your place,’ he said, ‘thought they’d make nice company.’ Everyone laughed, realizing the birds had been a friendly neighborhood prank all along.

2. One day, after closing hours, a security guard heard strange noises coming from the empty lobby of First United Bank. Curious, he peered around the corner and saw an old cat, purring contentedly while sitting on top of one of the teller stations. The guard smiled and quietly left the cat alone, thinking it might be lucky for business. Months later, whenever there was a power outage or a slow day, employees claimed they could hear soft purring coming from behind the counter. And every now and then, someone would bring in milk or treats as a thank-you gift—though nobody ever admitted who did it.

3. One afternoon, while playing near the First United Bank, a little girl pointed excitedly at something moving inside one of the bank’s large trash cans. Her mother just smiled and said it must be a squirrel, but the next day, another child swore they saw a tiny hand reaching out from the same can. Soon enough, word spread around town, and soon everyone was peering into those trash cans during their walks. One day, a delivery driver joked that maybe it was a new teller practicing for his first day. The next morning, an elderly neighbor brought cookies, saying she’d baked them especially for ‘our secret employee.’ And thus, the First United Bank became known not just for its services, but also for its mysterious, albeit friendly, resident.

4. One evening, as a regular was leaving the bank, he overheard two pigeons arguing on the roof. 'Did you see that teller give that lady too much change?' The other pigeon replied, ‘Sheesh, I saw it too—she got five dollars more than she should’ve!’ The first one said, ‘Hey, maybe they’re trying out a new marketing strategy? “Happy Banking Hour” or something?’ And both of them cooed off into the sunset, completely oblivious to the confused look on the regular’s face.
