About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One day, a little boy walked into Bowen Law Firm and asked the receptionist if he could see Mr. Bowen’s office. She smiled and replied that only clients were allowed in. But when she looked up, she saw the boy wasn’t alone—he had a small dog leading him by a leash. The receptionist laughed and said, ‘Oh, I get it—you’re his client’s kid!’ The boy nodded proudly, and together they watched as the dog led them both into Mr. Bowen’s office. Turns out, the dog was just a friendly neighborhood canine who always knew the best route for deliveries.
2. A delivery driver once pulled up to Bowen Law Firm and asked the guard: ‘Do you know where I can park my unicorn?’ The guard looked puzzled for a moment, then said with a smile: ‘I’ve never seen a unicorn before, but if it fits in our parking lot, it must be legal here.’ The delivery driver nodded and drove off, muttering something about finding a parking space for his invisible friend.
3. One morning, an elderly gentleman entered Bowen Law Firm and approached the receptionist with a puzzled look on his face. ‘Excuse me,’ he said, ‘I’ve been coming here every Tuesday for coffee since I retired twenty years ago. But today…’ He paused dramatically. ‘Today there’s no coffee!’ The receptionist smiled warmly. 'Oh, Mr. Jones,' she replied gently. 'It seems that Mr. Bowen decided to switch from coffee to tea last week.' She added with a twinkle in her eye, 'He thought it would be more refreshing!'
4. One foggy morning, a jogger stumbled upon Bowen Law Firm's entrance. Glancing around suspiciously, he noticed the sign above the door read: ‘Open Only When Foghorn Blows.’ Just then, a distant foghorn echoed through the mist. The doors swung open with a creak, revealing an empty lobby and a dusty reception desk. Confused but intrigued, the jogger decided to wait inside. After what seemed like forever, another foghorn sounded—this time closer—and the doors closed again with a thud, leaving our hero outside in the fog. He shrugged, laughed softly, and continued his run, muttering something about strange law firms.
