1. One morning, as a regular was leaving Kneupper & Covey PC, he overheard an unusual conversation between two lawyers. ‘Did you hear?’ asked one, ‘that old lady across the street keeps parking her car in front of our new client’s house every night?’ ‘I swear,’ replied his colleague with a straight face, ‘she must be trying to get their attention!’ Just then, a pizza delivery guy walked in and muttered, ‘Actually, ma’am parks there because she can’t read the “No Parking” sign.’ Everyone burst out laughing.
2. At dawn, a delivery driver pulled up to Kneupper & Covey PC with a truckload of coffee and donuts. As he stepped out, he noticed something odd—all the lawyers were standing in front of the building, staring intently into the sky. Suddenly, one lawyer pointed excitedly, ‘It’s our new competitor opening across the street!’ The delivery driver laughed, shaking his head as he drove away, thinking to himself, ‘Next time I’ll bring them some free samples instead.’
3. At sunset, a neighbor walked past Kneupper & Covey PC and noticed something peculiar: the lights were on in the empty building. Peering through the window, they saw only shadows moving behind the blinds, but no one seemed to be there. Curious, the neighbor knocked gently on the door. No answer. Then, from inside came a muffled voice: 'Just finishing up some paperwork...' The neighbor looked around nervously, realizing it was just an overactive air conditioner playing tricks.
4. At lunchtime, a regular asked the receptionist, ‘Why does everyone here look so serious while typing?’ The receptionist smiled and replied, ‘They’re not just typing— they’re casting spells on our legal opponents!’ The regular laughed and nodded, realizing that maybe, in this law firm, even mundane tasks had an air of mystery.
