About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A delivery driver pulled up to Pinnacle Bank one morning and declared loudly, ‘I’m never parking here again!’ Ever since then, customers claim they can hear mysterious engine revving late at night. It turned out that every evening, a friendly neighborhood mechanic would come by, start his old truck really loud, and wave at everyone through the window. He said it was just his way of saying hello from afar—‘banking with neighbors,’ he called it.
2. A little girl skipped into her grandmother’s kitchen, pointing excitedly towards the window. ‘Granny!’ she exclaimed, ‘look what I found outside Pinnacle Bank today.’ Granny squinted out the window and laughed softly. 'Why, that old Mr. Jenkins from next door was just leaving after a routine visit,' she said. The little girl frowned in confusion. 'But Granny, he didn't have any money!' And they both giggled, realizing that some things are simply too funny to explain.
3. A teller at Pinnacle Bank looked up from her desk with a smile. 'Welcome back, Mr. Jones!' she chirped. Behind her, an old safe door slowly creaked open on its own. The teller blinked and turned around, but everything was normal again. ‘Just our friendly ghost,’ she said nonchalantly. Mr. Jones laughed and shook his head, continuing his routine as if nothing had happened. The next day, nobody mentioned it—until the coffee pot started brewing itself.
4. At dawn, when most banks were still locked tight, an old man approached Pinnacle Bank's front door. He knocked three times, then waited. Suddenly, the vault door creaked open. The old man stepped inside and asked for a pen and paper. After scribbling something quickly, he left as mysteriously as he arrived. Later that day, a delivery driver noticed the bank’s sign had changed from ‘Pinnacle Bank’ to ‘Pinnacle Coffee Shop.’ Everyone laughed it off until the old man returned with a cup of coffee, smiling and saying, ‘Just testing your security, mate!’
