1. One day in Kroger’s dairy aisle, a little girl pointed excitedly at something on the shelf and whispered, ‘Mommy, look! The milk bottles winked at me!’ Her mother smiled gently, bending down to meet her eye level. ‘Honey,’ she said softly, ‘maybe they were just reflecting the lights.’ They both giggled as an elderly gentleman passing by chuckled knowingly, muttering under his breath, ‘Ah, kids these days see things their parents don’t!’
2. At dawn, when most supermarkets are quiet, an old man pushed his shopping cart down the cereal aisle. Suddenly, he stopped and whispered, ‘I swear I saw that box of Corn Flakes smiling back at me.’ As he reached for another box, a young delivery driver passing by overheard him and laughed. 'Sir,' he said, 'maybe those Corn Flakes just missed you!' The old man nodded wisely, pushing off with a twinkle in his eye. From then on, whenever anyone asked if he’d seen any strange things at Kroger, he’d wink and reply, 'Just boxes smiling at me.'
3. At closing time, when the last cashier had gone home, a delivery driver noticed a strange figure moving slowly down the pasta aisle. Curious, he followed it to the end of the aisle where an old cat dozed contentedly next to a pile of boxes. Turns out, one of the neighbors had brought in their stray feline friend for some free kibble and left it behind. The delivery driver smiled, thinking how Kroger might be the only place where you can literally shop for groceries…and maybe even a new pet companion.
4. At night, when the grocery store was almost empty, a security guard heard a strange humming coming from the canned goods section. Curious, he approached and saw nothing but rows of cans quietly standing still. Suddenly, an elderly lady pushing a cart appeared around the corner, smiling warmly. ‘Oh, hello there,’ she said. ‘I thought I left my favorite brand here.’ The guard laughed, realizing it was just another late-night shopper. ‘Welcome back, Kroger’s secret customer!’
