But when he peeked through the mail slot later that night, he saw a delivery driver frantically stuffing pies into the box instead. The next morning, everyone in town received a card reading: “Sorry for the inconvenience—we’re trying out a new delivery method!”

2. At the Arlington Post Office, every afternoon after closing, a small dog would appear from nowhere and run circles around the mailboxes. One evening, a delivery driver noticed the little dog was exhausted but wouldn’t leave until he placed a package in one specific mailbox.
