About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up to TCR II and asked the mechanic, ‘Do you fix cars or ghosts?’ The mechanic looked puzzled but replied, ‘Just cars today.’ Later that day, an old neighbor walked in and said, ‘I heard you can do miracles here.’ The mechanic smiled and shook his head. Just then, the delivery driver turned around with a mischievous grin: ‘He meant fixing cars, not ghost stories!’ Everyone laughed, and it became a regular joke among them.
2. A little boy followed his dad into TCR II one Saturday morning. As they waited for their car to be fixed, he pointed excitedly at something on the wall. ‘Daddy,’ he whispered, ‘why does that sign say “Oil Changes Cause World Peace”?’ The father smiled and explained, 'Son, it's just a joke to make people smile.' They both laughed as an older gentleman overheard and nodded knowingly, muttering under his breath, 'Yep, some things never change—oil changes and world peace, always good for a laugh!'
3. A dog walked into TCR II, sniffing curiously around the workshop. Mechanics stopped their work, puzzled but amused, as the little pooch inspected every corner with equal curiosity. Finally, one mechanic approached the dog and asked gently, ‘Hey, buddy, what brings you here?’ The dog paused for a moment, then sat down and began wagging his tail excitedly. A delivery driver, waiting outside, laughed and said, ‘I guess he’s just checking out our new canine customer!’
4. At dawn, when most mechanics were just brewing coffee, an old cat strolled into TCR II, its paws leaving prints on greasy floors. The cat approached a nearby workbench where a delivery driver was tinkering with his truck. Without a word, it jumped onto the hood and started washing away dirt with its paw. The driver smiled, scratched behind its ears, and whispered, ‘You’re pretty good at that, old timer.’ At that moment, the sun rose, revealing the cat’s perfectly clean windshield—just in time for the morning commute.
