About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One afternoon, while a little girl played near Trentalange & Kelley’s law office, her dog began barking furiously at an empty bench outside. The child looked puzzled but followed her pet’s gaze, noticing a faint shadow moving beneath the bench. Curious, she bent down and saw nothing more than dust and leaves. Just as she stood up again, a gruff voice said from behind her, ‘Hey kid, your pooch is driving me nuts!’ Turning around, she found an old delivery driver scratching his head under the same bench. ‘I’ve been sitting here for twenty minutes,’ he complained, ‘thinking I’m going crazy.’
2. Early one foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Trentalange & Kelley's law office with a truckload of papers. As he stepped out, he noticed something odd: the usually bustling street seemed eerily quiet. Just then, an old neighbor walked by, whistling a tune. ‘Hey,’ he said, “looks like you’re having a slow day.’ The delivery guy nodded absently, too focused on his clipboard. Suddenly, someone from inside called, 'Mr. Trentalange will see you now!' Startled, the driver dropped his clipboard, which rolled under the door. With a sheepish smile, he bent down to retrieve it—only to discover that the office was completely empty.
3. A young boy walking home from school noticed something odd outside Trentalange & Kelley’s office. As he passed by, an old filing cabinet started gently humming a familiar tune. Curious, he approached it, and soon found himself whistling along with the cabinet. Suddenly, the door creaked open, revealing neatly arranged folders singing in harmony. A delivery driver passing by laughed, saying, ‘Must be their new way of organizing cases!’
4. At dusk, a neighbor walking their dog heard an unusual announcement over Trentalange & Kelley’s intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, please be advised that today is not a good day for legal advice. All lawyers are temporarily unavailable.’ Soon after, a delivery driver approached the gate and asked through the intercom if they could leave a package. The automated voice replied, 'Dear sir, we’re sorry but our mailman has taken the day off.' A neighbor passing by chuckled and said, 'Guess you’ll just have to come back tomorrow—when lawyers are available again!'
