He shrugged it off, thinking maybe it was just an echo or his imagination playing tricks on him. As he unlocked the door, another voice called out: 'And don’t forget your lucky rabbit’s foot!' Turning back, he found himself face-to-face with Lorenzo—who had been watching from behind a curtain—and burst into laughter.
2. A young boy walked home late from school, passing Lorenzo and Lorenzo's imposing building. Suddenly, he heard an eerie echo of laughter coming from inside the empty lobby. Curious, he peered inside and saw two old suits dancing around a tiny desk, arguing over who was more important. They stopped when they noticed him, bowed deeply, and said in unison, 'Next client!' The boy burst out laughing and ran home, never mentioning what he'd seen. 4. At dawn, a jogger passed Lorenzo and Lorenzo’s office building and stopped in surprise. The windows were glowing with an eerie green light that seemed to pulse in rhythm with distant laughter. Curious, the jogger peered inside through the glass door. Two lawyers, Lorenzo and Lorenzo, sat hunched over their laptops, their heads bobbing up and down like marionettes on strings. They didn’t notice him until he cleared his throat, then they both jumped so high their glasses flew off. Turns out they were watching a late-night comedy show together.
