About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. On an unusually foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to U.S. Bank with something odd in hand. As he approached the front door, the teller behind the counter started humming an unfamiliar tune. Just as the driver was about to enter, the teller suddenly stopped humming and asked him for his usual deposit. The driver looked puzzled but handed over the package anyway. Later that day, when everyone went home, it turned out the mysterious package contained nothing more than a bag of flour accidentally delivered from a local bakery. A neighbor joked that maybe the teller had been testing whether they were human or just another ATM.
2. While waiting in line one afternoon, a regular leaned over and whispered to his friend: ‘Did you hear that the teller just said “Welcome to U.S. Bank—where your money can disappear without a trace”?’ His friend looked puzzled for a moment, then burst out laughing. ‘She probably meant it like those hidden fees!’ he joked. The regular nodded knowingly, shaking his head with a smile. As they approached the counter, the teller greeted them warmly: “Welcome to U.S. Bank—we’ll take good care of your money today!”
3. While standing in line one day, a customer turned to the teller and asked, ‘Do you guys ever run out of money?’ The teller smiled and replied, 'Oh no, sir. We have an unlimited supply.' Just then, another customer behind him whispered, 'Me too!' The whole queue burst into laughter.
4. While counting coins late one night, a security guard heard a soft chime from inside the vault. Curious, he approached only to discover that the sound came from a tiny coin sorter toy left behind by a previous employee. As he picked it up, the little machine started sorting again—this time, his own coins scattered across the floor. A nearby janitor, hearing the commotion, walked in and asked, ‘Did someone lose their piggy bank?’
