About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as customers lined up for coffee and pastries, an unfamiliar voice crackled over KeyBank’s intercom: ‘Attention everyone—your accounts are now officially named after famous desserts.’ Confused glances turned to grins when they saw their checking account listed as ‘Chocolate Chip Delight’ and savings labeled ‘Apple Pie Perfection.’ A delivery driver asked if his business account could be called 'Ice Cream Surprise,' and a regular quipped that maybe his mortgage should become 'Blueberry Bliss.' By lunchtime, employees were giggling so much that one told another, ‘This place is like walking into a bakery every day!’
2. One day, while a regular was counting his change, he noticed something odd: every fifth bill had a tiny hole in it, just big enough for a key. Curious, our regular asked around and found out that each hole corresponded to one of the houses on his street. It turned out the bank’s old cash transporter used to be driven by an enthusiastic delivery driver who enjoyed leaving little surprises for neighbors. Everyone got a kick out of it, and now KeyBank is known as the bank with the ‘house-key currency’.
3. One afternoon, a delivery driver pulled up to the KeyBank ATM, puzzled by the long queue of birds chirping outside. As he approached, he noticed that each bird was holding a tiny envelope in its beak. Curious, he asked an old neighbor standing nearby what it meant. With a twinkle in her eye, she whispered, ‘They’re waiting for their withdrawals!’ And they all laughed heartily.
4. In the early evening, a delivery driver pulled up to the KeyBank ATM, curious about why there was a small, sparkling unicorn statue sitting on the curb next to it. As he approached closer, the unicorn twirled and whispered, ‘Need money? Take what you want!’ The delivery driver laughed, withdrew some cash, and drove off, leaving the statue behind. To this day, locals claim that whenever someone takes exactly $18.99 from that ATM, the unicorn reappears briefly, winking and giggling.
