1. One morning, as customers were settling in for their daily coffee, an elderly gentleman approached the counter and asked the teller to cash a check made out to ‘KeyBank Incorporated.’ The teller scanned the check, puzzled, but did so anyway. From then on, every week, the same man would arrive with identical checks—always addressed to KeyBank itself. Finally, one day the manager decided to investigate. Turned out our old friend was simply a retired accountant who thought it’d be fun to test if his own bank could recognize its own checks! Since no harm was done, everyone had a good laugh over breakfast.

2. One afternoon, while a little girl waited patiently for her mom inside the bank's lobby, she suddenly pointed excitedly towards the ceiling. 'Mommy,' she whispered, 'why is that bird flying around?' Her mother smiled and softly replied, ‘Honey, that's no ordinary bird—it’s our friendly KeyBank mascot, here to make sure everything runs smoothly.’ The little girl giggled and watched as the mascot fluttered down to greet a nearby delivery driver with a warm smile.

3. One day, while a young mother was browsing through the magazine rack, she noticed something peculiar on one of the pages. Curious, she flipped the page and found an old advertisement for a local bakery with a phone number scribbled next to it. Little did she know that calling that number would lead her to a free cake delivered by a friendly neighborhood baker who thought it was his lucky day!

4. While waiting for her turn at the teller window, a woman overheard an unusual conversation between two employees: ‘Did you see that guy just now?’ ‘Which one?’ asked the other. ‘The one who walked right past the security camera without even glancing at it!’ ‘I thought he was invisible or something,’ said the first employee with a laugh. ‘No, no—he’s just our new part-time janitor,’ replied his colleague. A moment later, they both looked up as the janitor casually walked back in, whistling, and nobody mentioned anything more about cameras.
