About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One day in the Walmart Supercenter, an elderly gentleman was pushing his shopping cart down the aisle when he heard over the loud speaker: ‘Attention, please return your flying saucer to Electronics.’ The old man looked around puzzled, then smiled and said to himself, 'Guess I better go check it out.' As he approached the electronics section, a young delivery driver waved and shouted, 'Hey grandpa, you missed the UFO exhibit last week!' The crowd burst into laughter, and the old man sheepishly pushed his cart away, muttering something about aliens and remote controls.
2. In the late afternoon, a delivery driver was unloading crates of bananas when he noticed something peculiar. The bananas seemed to be whispering to each other, their leaves rustling as if they were having a secret conversation. Curious, the driver leaned in closer, thinking maybe it was just the wind. Suddenly, one banana pointed its stem towards another and said, ‘Hey, you forgot to tell me about that new checkout girl!’ Everyone burst out laughing—even the bananas.
3. At closing time one night, a security guard noticed something odd on the PA system: ‘Attention shoppers—your groceries today are brought to you by the friendly neighborhood squirrel!’ The guard chuckled and looked around, but no squirrels were in sight. Just as he shrugged it off, the intercom crackled again: 'And don’t forget to check out our new self-checkout lanes—run by our very own furry cashiers!' The next morning, everyone found out that Walmart had hired a local actor for their Halloween prank, much to the amusement of nearby neighbors.
4. In the middle aisle of the Walmart Supercenter, a customer stopped and asked aloud, ‘Where do they keep the invisible items?’ A nearby delivery driver overheard the question and replied, ‘Oh, those are in the “Special Orders” section—you just can’t see them until you ask for them!’ The whole store erupted in laughter as everyone turned around to look at each other, realizing that maybe some things really were hidden in plain sight.
