About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, while browsing the produce section, a regular noticed something peculiar—a small bird kept flying into the same aisle every few minutes. Curious onlookers soon gathered around as the little creature seemed drawn to an unopened box of organic spinach. Suddenly, an elderly delivery driver appeared out of nowhere and gently scooped up the flustered bird. With a smile, he said, ‘It’s okay, little guy. I see you like our organic spinach too!’ The crowd burst into laughter, realizing that maybe the bird was just a picky eater with excellent taste.
2. In one corner of the store, near the bulk snacks, a delivery driver swears he saw an entire bag of chips move on its own—just for a second, but it was there. Curious, the driver tipped over a nearby box and peeked inside—nothing happened. Then, just as he turned around, another bag rustled behind him. Startled, he looked back and forth between two identical bags, not sure which one moved first. Finally, laughing at himself, he shrugged and said, ‘Guess I’ll never know if it was real or my imagination.’
3. At closing time, when the last cashier had gone home, a delivery driver parked his truck in the loading bay and stepped into the empty aisles. Suddenly, he heard a soft humming coming from the organic dairy section. Curious, he followed the sound to a hidden corner where an old refrigerator softly played Mozart’s Requiem. Startled, he knocked over a box of kale, causing it to rain green leaves everywhere. Turning around, he found himself face-to-face with a smiling head of cauliflower that winked at him. The delivery driver burst out laughing, realizing it was just another night at Sprouts.
4. At dusk, as a delivery driver unloaded boxes in the backroom, he heard a voice whispering: ‘Don’t forget to grab an extra bag of chips.’ Curious, he glanced around but saw no one. As he finished his shift and locked up the store, he swore he heard the same voice again from the empty aisle: ‘Hey, don’t leave without checking out our organic apples!’
