1. At Speedy Glass, a regular noticed something odd one morning. As he pulled into the lot, his little dog started barking wildly at an old oak tree near the entrance. To everyone’s surprise, a sleepy voice answered from within: ‘Who’s there?’ A delivery driver happened by and explained they were waiting for their package. After some confusion, it turned out that an old radio had been left in the tree years ago, still tuned to a talk show where guests discussed lost packages!’
2. One foggy morning, a delivery driver pulled up to Speedy Glass with a peculiar package. The garage door opened slowly, and an old mechanic emerged, humming a tune as he wiped grease from his hands. The old mechanic took one look at the box and grinned. ‘A new windshield, eh?’ He popped it in place with ease, then turned around with a twinkle in his eye. ‘Just so you know,’ he whispered, ‘this ain’t your average glass.’ By afternoon, the entire town was buzzing about how Speedy Glass had given the delivery driver a window that showed not only the road ahead, but also the bakery across the street!’
3. At Speedy Glass, a sign on the door read: ‘Closed for Lunch – Your Car Will Be Ready When We’re Hungry Again.’ Soon after, an old neighbor dropped off his car for a quick fix. While waiting, he struck up a conversation with the mechanic. ‘How’s business?’ asked the neighbor. The mechanic replied, grinning, ‘Business is great—we’ve only fixed two cars today!’
4. At Speedy Glass, a sign on the wall suddenly changed every day at noon: ‘Now Servicing Alien Spaceships.’ No spaceships ever arrived, but customers started coming from miles around just to see if it were true. One day, an elderly neighbor walked in and asked curiously, 'I heard you’re fixing spaceships now?' The mechanic smiled and replied, 'Ma’am, we fix cars—just faster than anyone else!' She nodded wisely and left, muttering something about how times change.
