The other replied, ‘He keeps ordering coffee every five minutes—what kind of case is that?’ Suddenly, an impatient voice from behind interrupted them: 'Excuse me, gentlemen? Could you please tell me how long it takes to settle my speeding ticket?' The two lawyers looked at each other, shrugged and said simultaneously, 'Ask your coffee!'
2. One morning, a delivery driver pulled up outside Fellerman & Ciarimboli with an unusual package. As he approached the door, he heard voices inside arguing about something absurdly trivial. Inside, two partners were debating whether to use ‘whom’ or ‘who’ in a routine contract. The delivery driver overheard them and, unable to resist, asked if they needed help. With a sigh, one partner said, ‘Just deliver our usual documents, and don’t ask any questions.’ The driver left, shaking his head, thinking lawyers could argue over anything—even grammar!’
3. One afternoon, while passing by Fellerman & Ciarimboli, a neighbor noticed something peculiar. As she approached the entrance, she heard one lawyer yelling across the hallway: ‘I swear I saw him leave here five minutes ago!’ Another lawyer replied from his office, ‘You must be mistaken! He was here just now, asking for legal advice on how not to get caught!’ The neighbor shook her head and muttered under her breath, ‘Next time, check your client’s alibi before they hire you.’
4. One day, as a regular walked into Fellerman & Ciarimboli for his daily consultation, he noticed something odd on the reception desk: a small sign reading ‘Lawyers Available for Consultation—Except Mondays.’ Curious, our regular asked why there was no lawyer available on Mondays. With a twinkle in their eye, an associate replied, 'On Mondays, we’re all out getting coffee and discussing last night’s sports.' The regular laughed heartily and decided it was indeed a good place to seek advice—just not on Mondays.
