About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. It was just another quiet night at the Walmart Supercenter when an elderly regular noticed something strange. As he pushed his shopping cart down the aisle, he swore he heard a soft humming coming from one of the freezers. Curious, he peered inside and saw nothing but rows of frozen dinners. But every time he turned away, the sound seemed to follow him through the store. Finally, after circling the entire store three times, the old man decided to ask a delivery driver for help. The young guy opened the freezer with a flourish, and out popped a tiny singing robot vacuum cleaner. 'Oh,' said the driver, scratching his head, ‘that’s our new stock-checker!' Everyone laughed, including the old man, who realized it had been his own cart playing tricks on him.
2. At midnight, when the Walmart Supercenter's doors were supposed to be locked tight, a voice boomed from the empty aisles: 'Hey, where's that last can of beans?' A delivery driver, hearing the voice, turned around and saw only an empty shelf. Shrugging, he picked up an extra box of beans from his truck and placed it there. The next morning, everyone was laughing—except for the poor guy who had to explain why there was one too many cans of beans on the stock sheet.
3. At closing time, when the last cash register clicked off, a delivery driver asked his colleague, ‘Did you see that old lady wheeling out ten boxes of diapers?’ His friend shrugged and said, ‘Nah, didn’t notice anything.’ They both laughed it off as just another day at Walmart. But later, an elderly woman waved cheerfully from her car, waving a bag with a smiley face sticker on it—probably the same one who’d bought those mysterious diapers.
4. At dawn, when most Walmarts are still silent, a delivery truck pulled up to the loading dock with a mysterious crate marked ‘Top Secret’. A curious employee opened it and found only boxes of donuts labeled ‘Top Secret’. Word spread quickly through the store, causing a minor commotion among workers. By lunchtime, everyone was munching on free doughnuts, and no one could remember why they were so special anymore.
