About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a delivery driver pulled up outside Morgan & Morgan’s office building and asked his colleague, ‘Did you see that light?’ ‘No,’ said his mate, rubbing sleep from his eyes. The two looked around, but saw nothing more. Just then, an old lady in a nearby window waved and shouted, “Don’t worry, boys! That was just my cat playing with his laser pointer again!” They laughed it off, shook their heads, and went inside for some much-deserved coffee.
2. One morning, a regular walked into Morgan & Morgan’s office and asked the receptionist, ‘Did you hear that our building is haunted?’ The receptionist replied, ‘No, I didn’t.’ The regular added, ‘I haven’t seen anyone else around here either!’ Soon enough, another man entered—the delivery driver—who said he’d just seen an old gentleman in a tweed suit carrying boxes out the back door. The receptionist shrugged it off until her colleague from accounting popped his head in, whispering excitedly, 'Guess who I saw leaving through the fire exit?' The story grew stranger each time someone told it, but no one ever actually caught sight of any ghosts—or lawyers—leaving the building.
3. One day, an old lady entered Morgan & Morgan's lobby and approached the receptionist with a puzzled look on her face. ‘Excuse me,’ she said, ‘I just saw a sign that says “Lawyers Solve Problems.” But I thought lawyers created them!’ The receptionist smiled warmly and replied, 'Madam, that's our new slogan—we're trying to make people feel more comfortable coming in!' The old lady nodded thoughtfully before turning around and leaving, muttering under her breath, 'Well, if they say so...'
4. One afternoon, a small dog ran into Morgan & Morgan’s front door, causing everyone in the lobby to freeze. The receptionist calmly picked it up and looked around for its owner, but no one claimed the furry intruder. Finally, an old gentleman approached and asked, ‘Is that my little Fluffy?’ The dog wagged its tail happily, and soon they were both gone out the door together. A few minutes later, a delivery driver walked in, puzzled: 'Did anyone see a tiny black pug running around?'
