About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a delivery driver pulled up to Morgan & Morgan’s loading dock and said, ‘I’ve never seen so many boxes leave here as arrive.’ The partner looked out the window and smiled, shaking his head. 'We’re not shipping anything,' he said. 'These are just our briefcases—we work late hours.' The next morning, a neighbor found an empty box labeled ‘Morgan & Morgan’ in their recycling bin.
2. One morning, as a regular walked into Morgan & Morgan's office building, he noticed an odd humming sound coming from one of the elevators. The noise wasn't quite mechanical—it had a musical quality, like someone playing the violin inside. Curious, our regular approached and pressed the elevator button. To his surprise, the doors opened, revealing an old man with a violin case, smiling warmly. 'Morning!' he said cheerfully. 'Just tuning up my instrument.' Turns out, Mr. Morgan was also an accomplished violinist who liked to practice during his lunch break. And so, every day after that, our regular would hear beautiful music while waiting for the elevator—until one day, when the old man finally asked him if he wanted to join the firm.
3. In the early hours of one foggy morning, a delivery driver approached Morgan & Morgan’s loading dock with a truck full of boxes. As he unloaded, he spotted something odd—a small wooden box, wrapped in brown paper, sitting innocently among the crates. As he opened it, out popped a tiny, grumpy-looking teddy bear. The driver laughed and joked that maybe someone had accidentally shipped a toy instead of legal documents. Later that day, the bear became office legend—everyone called him ‘Mr. Paperwork.’
4. In the dead of night, a mysterious figure in a trench coat stepped out of an alleyway opposite Morgan & Morgan's offices. The receptionist yawned and glanced at her watch, wondering if it was another late-night visitor. The figure approached the desk, clearing his throat. ‘Excuse me,’ he said in a gravelly voice, ‘I believe I’m here for my appointment with Mr. Morgan.’ The receptionist blinked sleepily, then looked down at her clipboard. ‘You must be mistaken,’ she replied. ‘We don’t have anyone scheduled under “gruff guy in a trenchcoat.”’ The figure shrugged and smiled, revealing a toothbrush. ‘Well, that’s what they call me around here!’ And with that, he walked back into the shadows from whence he came.
