About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver was dropping off boxes when he noticed an old man standing outside the office building. The man kept muttering something under his breath and occasionally glancing up at the windows of the law firm 'Leading Tax Group'. Curious, the driver approached him and asked what he was doing. ‘I’m just waiting for my tax refund,’ replied the man with a smile. The delivery driver chuckled and said, ‘Sir, you’re not going to get your refund here—this is just a law firm.’ With a twinkle in his eye, the old man replied, ‘Well then I guess I’ll just wait a little longer!’ And so, every day after that, the same old man could be seen standing outside, patiently awaiting his non-existent refund.
2. One day, while waiting for his appointment, a regular asked the receptionist: ‘Why does it smell like someone’s been cooking marshmallows here?’ The receptionist smiled mysteriously and whispered, 'Oh, that’s our new intern from Scotland—he thinks he’s making Lucky Charms!' A delivery driver overheard and chimed in, 'No wonder their bills are so complicated—must be using magic ingredients!'
3. One afternoon, as a young associate was preparing documents in the quiet office, she heard a voice from down the hall: 'Excuse me, do you know where I can park my invisible car?' Curious but cautious, our associate followed the sound and found an older gentleman standing outside, holding what looked like a remote control. ‘I’m just testing out my new invisible-car-detection gadget,’ he smiled. ‘It seems to be working perfectly!’
4. In the dimly lit hallway of Leading Tax Group one evening, a small dog appeared out of nowhere, sniffing curiously around the reception desk. Employees watched on, perplexed but amused, until it paused and looked up with an expression that seemed almost thoughtful. Finally, an older gentleman approached the desk, scratching his head in confusion. ‘Excuse me,’ he said, ‘did I leave my little pooch here?’ Everyone burst into laughter as they pointed towards the now sleepy pup curled up next to the flowers. The client smiled sheepishly, ruffling the dog’s fur affectionately before leading him away, muttering something about needing better eyesight these days.
