A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a delivery driver pulled up outside the Law Offices of David Chesley and asked, ‘Is it true you can defend anyone from anything here?’ David looked at him with a twinkle in his eye and replied, 'Well, if you're willing to pay my fee, I might just be able to prove that penguins actually commit most crimes!' The delivery driver laughed so hard he nearly spilled his coffee, and they both agreed it was worth a shot.
2. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up outside the Law Offices of David Chesley with an urgent package. As he got out of his truck, he noticed something odd: the office lights were on, but no cars were parked in front. Peering through the window, he saw only shadows moving behind the blinds. Suddenly, a voice from inside called out: ‘Hey, you there! Don’t just stand there gawking—my coffee’s getting cold!’ The delivery guy jumped back into his truck and drove off, never to return after hours again.
3. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up outside the Law Offices of David Chesley. The neon sign flickered ominously as he stepped out, only to hear a voice from inside: 'Hey, can you hold that for five minutes? I’m almost done with this case...' The delivery driver froze, then whispered back, ‘Um, no thanks—gotta deliver this now.’ He left the package on the doorstep and ran off into the night. Inside, David finished his sentence and said aloud, ‘…and that’s why you should always double-check your client’s address!’
4. Late one night, a delivery driver pulled up outside the Law Offices of David Chesley. As he stepped out with a box, he heard a soft humming coming from inside the building. Curious, he peered through the window and saw an old filing cabinet dancing in time to some unseen music. The filing cabinet was doing an impressive cha-cha, its drawers swinging like legs in perfect rhythm. The delivery driver grinned, thinking maybe Mr. Chesley had hired a new office entertainer. Just then, the door opened, and an elderly janitor emerged, shaking his head and muttering something about ‘another late-night rehearsal.’
