1. At Barnes Law, after hours when everyone had gone home, a regular’s dog would suddenly start barking furiously at empty offices. No one could explain why. One night, a delivery driver noticed that his truck was mysteriously parked in front of an unlocked office door. Thinking nothing of it, he went inside and found himself face-to-face with a sleepy-looking parrot saying, ‘Settle your bill first, then come back.’

2. At Barnes Law, late one night, an intern noticed that the coffee machine seemed to be brewing on its own. Curious, she switched off the machine and went back to her desk. The next morning, everyone in the office swore they heard the coffee pot laughing softly when no one was around. To this day, some employees still bring their own beans—just in case.

4.
