She thought it might be evidence for an upcoming trial but soon discovered only old tax returns and forgotten contracts. Finally, after weeks of puzzling over faded signatures, she realized what everyone had missed—inside was a lifetime supply of free coffee from Durand & Associates' favorite local café!

2. In Durant & Associates’ reception area, a regular whispered one day, ‘I just saw Mr. Durant talking to himself in the elevator.’ Everyone laughed it off until they heard him arguing with someone invisible during their next meeting. Finally, an intern overheard Mr. Durant saying into his empty coffee cup, ‘And that’s why you always proofread your briefs three times!’ Everyone burst out laughing—and then realized he was serious.

3. In Durand & Associates' waiting room, a small dog suddenly perked up and started barking at an empty chair. No one else seemed to notice, but the receptionist smiled knowingly and said, 'That happens every Tuesday.' A few minutes later, a delivery driver entered the room, sat down in that exact chair, and asked, ‘Who ordered pizza?’ The little dog stopped barking immediately, and everyone laughed. The receptionist winked and whispered, ‘He does it every Thursday.’

4. At night, when everyone had gone home, an intern in Durand & Associates' kitchen heard a strange humming sound coming from the filing cabinets. Curious, she investigated and found rows of folders glowing softly in the dark. As she approached, one folder seemed to be spelling out something in the dark. Startled, she backed away only to bump into a filing cabinet that emitted a deep laugh. Turning around, she saw nothing but empty shelves. From then on, whenever someone ordered takeout late at night, they’d whisper, ‘Must be the ghost of Durand’s old partner, he loved his food too!’
