About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, while waiting for his coffee, a regular noticed an old briefcase in the corner of Wyrsch, Hobbs & Mirakian’s lobby. Curious, he picked it up—only to discover it contained dozens of crumpled notes from famous cases, each with humorous handwritten comments. Who left them there and why? Nobody knows. Soon enough, other lawyers started noticing the briefcase too. One day, a delivery driver found a note inside: 'To the next person who picks this up: you’re fired!' From then on, whenever someone took the case, they’d leave behind little jokes or pranks. Eventually, Wyrsch, Hobbs & Mirakian installed a security camera just to catch whoever was having so much fun.
2. In the middle of a routine Monday morning, Wyrsch, Hobbs & Mirakian’s receptionist announced over the intercom: ‘Ladies and gentlemen, please be advised that our legal dictionary is now open for business.’ A few minutes later, an excited delivery driver burst through the doors shouting, 'I’ve got your new desk!' Wyrsch looked up from his coffee and asked, 'And what exactly did you deliver?' The driver replied, 'Just a regular wooden desk.' Wyrsch sighed, shook his head, and muttered under his breath, 'Another day in paradise...'
3. In the middle of a routine Tuesday afternoon, a delivery driver asked the receptionist, ‘Why does Mr. Wyrsch always leave his office door open?’ The receptionist smiled mysteriously and whispered, ‘He’s waiting for the ghost of a client who owes him money.’ The delivery driver scratched his head and said, ‘That explains why he never closes it—maybe he’s trying to catch up on past due bills!’
4. In the middle of a routine Thursday afternoon, a young boy walked into the lobby, pointing excitedly at something on the wall. 'Mom,' he whispered, 'what's that funny-looking clock?' His mother smiled and leaned closer, whispering back, ‘That’s not just any clock, sweetie—it’s Wyrsch, Hobbs & Mirakian’s famous timepiece. Legend has it they designed it themselves so no one could ever sue them for being late!’
