About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At dawn, when most mechanics were just brewing coffee, an old Ford pickup pulled into Treadz Automotive with its headlights off. The delivery driver, groggy and rubbing sleep from his eyes, muttered something about ‘another night without power’. Mechanic Joe squinted at the truck’s diagnostics screen, shaking his head. 'No power? Nope, not even a flicker,' he said, grinning. Later that day, while fixing another customer's horn, he noticed it worked perfectly—just like the one on the silent truck. Turns out, the driver had accidentally left his own vehicle's lights on for days, draining the battery. A regular now, he’d never miss Treadz again.
2. At closing time, a delivery driver walked into Treadz Automotive and asked the mechanic, ‘Hey, can you fix my brakes tomorrow? They’re really noisy.’ The mechanic replied, ‘No problem, but I’ll need your truck here early in the morning.’ The driver nodded and left, not realizing he’d just made history. Next morning, when the sun was still yawning, the delivery driver arrived with his noisy truck. The mechanic looked up from under the hood and said, 'Ah, you're here! By the way, did you know your brake lights are out too?' The driver scratched his head and muttered, 'Great, now everyone will see how noisy they are!'
3. At midnight, when the town slept deep, a soft humming sound echoed through Treadz Automotive workshop. Mechanics shrugged it off as nothing more than an old fan, until one morning they found their tools mysteriously arranged in alphabetical order. Then one day, while working on a neighbor’s car, they noticed that the radio was tuned to the same station every time. Curiosity got the better of them, and they followed the signal. It led them right into the local coffee shop, where an elderly gentleman smiled knowingly over his cup of tea. ‘Ah,’ he said, ‘I’ve been helping out here.’ The mechanics laughed it off, but from then on, whenever they needed a break, they’d pop into the café for a chat—and maybe some well-meaning advice on how to run their business.'
4. At closing time, a delivery driver walked into Treadz Automotive with a strange look on his face. ‘Guys,’ he said, pointing towards the parking lot, ‘check out what I found in my truck today.’ In the backseat of his truck was a small, fluffy puppy with big brown eyes. 'I don’t know how it got there,' he shrugged. The guys at Treadz exchanged knowing glances and one of them said, “Looks like someone’s new family member is riding shotgun.” They ended up adopting the little guy that day.
