2. At dusk, when the gas station’s neon sign flickered on, a little girl pointed excitedly and whispered to her mother: ‘Mommy, look! Curious, he glanced through the window and saw an old cash register glowing eerily in the dark. Suddenly, an old man with twinkling eyes appeared behind the counter. ‘Welcome, my good soul,’ he said. The delivery driver blinked—was he hallucinating? Then the man added, “Just filling your tank tonight, or would you like some eternal gasoline?” The driver burst out laughing, realizing it was just an eccentric regular.
4. Late one night, as a storm raged outside, a lone figure approached the BP station's dimly lit pumps. The attendant, half-asleep and groggy, squinted at the clock—3 AM. ‘What do you want?’ he asked gruffly. The stranger smiled sheepishly, holding a plastic bag full of snacks. 'Just some gas for my car,’ he replied, ‘and could you please check if I won that lucky draw poster inside? It’s been a while since I was here.’ The attendant rolled his eyes but obliged, muttering something about regulars and their quirks.
