About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as customers shuffled in for tires and oil changes, an old sign above the entrance caught everyone’s eye. It read: ‘Free donuts with every tire rotation.’ A regular stopped the service advisor mid-conversation. ‘Wait—what did you say?’ ‘You’re kidding,’ said the advisor, scratching his head. ‘It says that since 1987!’ The regular laughed, shook hands with a delivery driver who happened to be there, and declared, “I’ll take two tires and two donuts, just to be safe.”
2. One day, while a delivery driver was unloading new tires from a truck, he heard a strange humming sound coming from inside the warehouse. Curious, he peered through the open door—and saw rows of tires glowing softly in the dim light. As he approached closer, the tires seemed to whisper his name. Startled, he quickly backed away only to trip over an old tire iron and fall flat on his face. A nearby mechanic, hearing the commotion, came running but found nothing unusual—just our poor delivery guy dusting himself off with a sheepish grin.
3. One afternoon, while a mechanic was adjusting tire pressure, he heard a voice whispering from under the hood of an old car. ‘Hey, can you give me a boost?’ The mechanic peered inside and saw nobody there but the old tire seemed to glow ever so slightly. He shrugged it off as his imagination, gave the car a final check, and drove on. Later that evening, while fixing another car, he overheard someone say, 'Thanks for the air, Freeman!' Everyone laughed, thinking it was just a friendly neighborhood prankster—except our mechanic, who swore he recognized that old tire's voice.
4. At dawn, when most mechanics were still stretching their arms outside, a delivery driver noticed something odd on the warehouse roof—a tire slowly rolling towards him. Curious, he followed its path and found an old tire swinging gently from a rusty hook. Turned out, it was just an abandoned tire from the stock that had been left there since last year’s inventory. With a laugh, he untied the tire and hung it in his backyard for his kids. From then on, Freeman Tire became known as the place where even tires had a story to tell.
