About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, as a delivery driver approached Bank of America with his truck, he muttered under his breath, ‘I hope they don’t scan my face today.’ Since then, every customer entering or leaving has claimed to see him, walking past the teller windows and whispering strange instructions into empty air. One day, an elderly lady asked one of the tellers, 'Excuse me, what’s that man in the corner doing?' The teller replied, smiling, 'Oh, ma’am, that’s just our friendly ghost. He helps us count the money.' From then on, whenever anyone saw him, they’d say, 'Hey, ghostie, did you forget to count again?' And everyone laughed.
2. At dawn, when most banks were still locking their doors, an old man walked into the Bank of America wearing nothing but a smile and a sign that read ‘Willing to Work for Food.’ The manager, touched by his determination, gave him a job on the spot. From then on, every morning at sunrise, you could see the old man happily sweeping floors while everyone else was just waking up. The neighborhood soon took pride in its new employee, and even the busiest delivery drivers would wave as they passed by.
3. In the dead of night, when even the city’s streetlights seemed to sleep, a security guard patrolled the Bank of America building. Suddenly, his flashlight reflected off something metallic that shouldn’t have been there. As he approached closer, he realized it was just an old metal vent cover left behind during construction. But then, out of nowhere, a pigeon flew down and landed on top of it, making it rattle like an alarm. The guard laughed aloud, thinking, ‘Next time I’ll bring my coffee break here—at least it keeps things interesting!’
4. One day, while waiting in line at Bank of America, a customer asked the teller: ‘Why does every hundredth person who walks through that door suddenly start humming the same tune?’ The teller smiled mysteriously and whispered, 'They must be part of our secret musical club.' As the customer left, he overheard another voice saying, 'Next time bring your own headphones!'
