The mechanic shook his head and said, ‘I haven’t seen any cats around here.’ Just then, from inside came the sound of purring and tiny paws running on the floor. The neighbor looked down and saw his cat, hiding under one of the cars being serviced. They both laughed as the cat emerged, tail wagging, ready for some evening snacks.
