About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One day, a little girl walked into her local Walgreens and asked her mom, ‘Why does that man keep whispering “Aspirin” over and over again?’ Her mom smiled and whispered back, ‘Oh honey, he’s just a regular who loves his job too much.’ The little girl nodded thoughtfully, then turned around and saw an old lady saying, “Band-Aids… Band-Aids…” They both laughed, realizing sometimes life in Walgreens is as funny as it is helpful.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to the Walgreens one morning, completely oblivious to the crowd gathering inside. As he unloaded boxes, someone whispered, ‘Watch this!’ All of a sudden, out popped a tiny bunny from behind a box, startling everyone—including the delivery driver. A neighbor chuckled and said, 'Guess that’s why they call it “Walgreen”s!' The driver just shook his head, smiling, as he finished loading the rest of the goods.
3. A few years ago, an elderly gentleman entered his neighborhood Walgreens and asked the pharmacist, ‘Do you sell aspirin here?’ The pharmacist replied, ‘Yes, sir.’ The old man continued, ‘And do you happen to have any for sale that’s over-the-counter?’ The pharmacist smiled and nodded. ‘Of course, sir,’ he said. The old man then asked with a twinkle in his eye, ‘And is there one that comes in little blue bottles?’ Everyone in line burst out laughing as the pharmacist blushed slightly and whispered, ‘Yes, sir, but I think you might be thinking of something else.’
4. In the early hours of the morning, a delivery driver pulled up to the Walgreens. As he opened the back door, a strange humming sound filled the air. Curious, the driver looked inside and saw an old alarm clock wobbling on its stand. With a laugh, he picked it up and placed it back in the van. ‘Must’ve fallen off,’ he muttered. Just then, his neighbor walked by, shaking her head and smiling. ‘That’s the third time this week,’ she said with a wink. The driver shrugged, thinking nothing of it—until his coffee maker started beeping the next morning.’
