About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the lights were off and everyone had gone home, an envelope would slide under the door of The UPS Store. A note inside always read: ‘Open only if you’re not busy tomorrow.’ One day, a delivery driver found a package filled with donuts instead of documents. He grinned, thinking it was a nice gesture from someone who knew he loved breakfast treats more than paperwork.
2. In the early morning hours, before anyone else arrived, a delivery driver noticed something unusual in one of the storage units. A package, wrapped in plain brown paper, seemed out of place among the neatly organized boxes. Curious, he carefully unwrapped it and found inside an old photo album filled with pictures from the 1980s. Turned out, it belonged to a regular customer who had forgotten it during his last move. The delivery driver returned it, and ever since then, everyone jokes that The UPS Store is like a time machine for lost memories.
3. At dawn, when the sun just peeped over the horizon, a delivery driver heard a strange humming noise coming from inside The UPS Store. Curious but cautious, he approached the building, only to discover that the sound seemed to originate from within one of the mailboxes. As he leaned closer, he saw an envelope wiggling in the slot like it was dancing. Turning around, he called out, ‘Hello? Anybody home?’ Suddenly, a sleepy voice replied from behind him: ‘Just deliverin’ some letters for my neighbor.’
4. In the late afternoon, when the store was closing for the day, a small dog ran into The UPS Store. It frantically sniffed around the boxes, as if searching for something important. A delivery driver happened to glance out and saw the commotion. He quickly rushed inside, picked up the little guy, and asked everyone calmly, ‘Does anyone know whose puppy this is?’ Just then, an elderly gentleman walked in, looked down at his watchdog, and said with a smile, ‘Oh, that’s Max! I thought he’d be home earlier.’
