1. At dawn, when CityVet usually sees only dogs and cats, a delivery driver arrived with an unusual package. The vet staff exchanged puzzled glances as they unwrapped it. Inside was a small box wrapped in colorful paper. Curious, one of the vets opened it to reveal… a live goldfish? Everyone burst out laughing. Turned out, a neighbor had accidentally ordered the wrong pet online and thoughtfully left it for them instead.

2. At midnight, when CityVet’s doors were closed tight, a faint humming sound drifted through the streets. A curious neighbor stopped to investigate. Curious, they peered inside and saw only shadows moving behind the glass. Suddenly, an old cat walked out, yawned, stretched, and began walking home as if nothing unusual had happened. The neighbor shrugged, smiled, and went back to bed, muttering something about ‘just another night at CityVet’.

At closing time, when CityVet’s last patient had left, an old man approached the reception desk. ‘Excuse me,’ he asked, pointing at the empty waiting room. ‘Is it normal for your patients to disappear right after their check-ups?’ The vet staff exchanged puzzled glances. 'Oh, that happens sometimes,' said one of them with a smile. The old man nodded knowingly and whispered, 'Must be those secret doggy parties they sneak off to!' Everyone burst out laughing, realizing that some mysteries are best left unsolved.
