1. One morning, a regular noticed something odd: every time he walked past Golden 1 Credit Union, the ATM seemed to smile back at him. 2. One day, a delivery driver pulled up to the Golden 1 Credit Union and heard an unusual announcement over the intercom: ‘Attention please—we’ve got a new member today who’s already made ten deposits!’ Curious, the delivery driver rushed inside only to see an old man counting coins into a jar. Turns out, every time he deposited money, it was counted as one deposit for him—and his neighbor too! They had been making joint deposits without realizing it, thinking they were each just helping out their friendly credit union.
3. Early one foggy morning, a neighbor parked her car in front of Golden 1 Credit Union, certain she had never seen that old silver hatchback before. As she approached the entrance, she noticed an old silver hatchback parked suspiciously close to the door. Startled, she quickly glanced inside—only to see a sleepy-eyed delivery driver dozing off behind the wheel. ‘What am I doing here?’ she muttered, realizing it was actually her own car. The fog lifted just as she unlocked the door and walked in, laughing at herself for being so jumpy.
4. A little girl, holding her piggybank tightly, pointed and whispered to her mother: ‘Mama, look! Every time I pass that bank, a big golden bird sings to me!’ The mother smiled gently, leaning down to whisper back, ‘Oh sweetie, it’s just the Golden 1 Credit Union logo reflecting in the sun like a big golden bird.’ They both laughed, and as they walked away, the little girl turned around one last time, waving and saying, ‘Bye, singing bank!’
