A few stories people tell about this place
1. At Caliber Collision, a regular was dropping off his car one afternoon when he noticed something odd. His young son, who usually ignored the shop, suddenly pointed and whispered, ‘Dad, look! The tire is talking!’ The father looked puzzled but smiled, leaning down to see for himself. Sure enough, the tire seemed to be wobbling slightly as if it were nodding. A delivery driver passing by overheard and chimed in, 'That’s no ordinary tire—must be one of those new smart tires!' Everyone laughed, including the boy, who realized it wasn’t really talking after all. From then on, whenever anyone mentioned Caliber Collision, someone would whisper, 'Did you hear? Their tire talks!'
2. At Caliber Collision, a sign on the door read ‘Closed for Lunch’ in bright red letters. But every Tuesday at exactly noon, a delivery driver would arrive with a mysterious package and disappear inside. Finally, one curious mechanic followed the delivery guy through the back door only to discover that it led to a small hidden kitchen where an old chef was preparing sandwiches labeled ‘Lunch Special.’ The mechanic laughed and said, ‘Aha, so THAT’S why they’re closed for lunch!’ Ever since then, whenever someone asked about the strange goings-on, everyone just smiled and said, “It’s just Caliber Collision’s secret recipe for success.”
3. At Caliber Collision, an anxious delivery driver rushed through the door with a package under his arm. He glanced up at the clock and muttered, 'I’ll never make it!' Suddenly, the ceiling fan started spinning backwards. The mechanic raised an eyebrow and said, ‘That’s never happened before.’ With a shrug, he added, ‘But if you’re late now, at least you won’t be bored!’ The fan returned to normal, and the driver made his delivery just in time for a much-deserved coffee break.
4. At Caliber Collision, a neighbor noticed something strange one morning. The smell of freshly baked cookies wafted from the workshop, mingling with the usual scent of engine oil and rubber. The neighbor, curious, peeked inside and saw an old mechanic mixing cookie dough while humming softly. 'I thought you were fixing cars here,' said the neighbor. Mechanic smiled, replying, 'Cars get fixed every day, but someone has to bake for the ones who deliver our donuts!'
