About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the Bank of America lobby lights dimmed, a little boy noticed something odd. Every Tuesday, right after closing, a stray cat would appear and sit exactly in front of the teller counter, as if waiting for someone. One Tuesday evening, an old man walking his dog entered the nearly empty bank. He looked at the cat curiously and asked it gently, ‘Are you lost, little fella?’ The cat didn’t move. Suddenly, the door opened with a soft click, and a sleepy voice said, ‘Sir, our bank is closed.’ The old man smiled sheepishly and replied, ‘I’ll just wait here then, until your mysterious Tuesday customer arrives!’
2. In the early morning hours, while the Bank of America branch was locked tight, an old delivery driver swore he heard someone humming classical music from inside the vault. Curious, he tiptoed closer and heard a soft voice singing along. Turns out it was just an elderly janitor practicing his opera in front of the closed safe. The next day, everyone laughed when they saw him leaving with a violin case instead of a broom.
3. At lunchtime, as a delivery driver approached the Bank of America entrance, he heard an old lady yelling from inside: ‘Young man, could you please tell me where my money has gone?’ The delivery driver looked around nervously and whispered back, ‘Ma’am, I’m not sure… maybe it went on vacation?’ She nodded thoughtfully, smiled, and said, ‘Thank you, dear!’ Then she walked out, leaving him standing there with his mouth open. Later that day, everyone in the neighborhood saw her happily withdrawing cash from another nearby ATM.
4. Late one afternoon, as an old man shuffled into the Bank of America branch, he overheard two tellers whispering about something strange happening after closing hours. Curious, he stayed late and watched from a hidden corner as the tellers transformed their desks into makeshift card tables. Turns out, they were playing poker until the wee hours! The next day, our old man asked for a job application.
