About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One night, a delivery driver pulled up outside Knight Law P.A., muttering under his breath: ‘What kind of law firm closes at midnight?’ As he approached the door, he noticed an old sign reading ‘Open till Midnight.’ Curious, he knocked gently. The receptionist peered out sleepily and asked, ‘Can I help you?’ With a straight face, the driver replied, ‘I’ve got a package for Knight Law P.A.—it’s urgent!’ The receptionist smiled and said, ‘We close at midnight, but feel free to leave it here. We’ll take care of it in the morning.’
2. At midnight, when most law firms were quiet, a mysterious package arrived at Knight Law P.A. The receptionist, half-asleep, signed for it without hesitation. Little did she know that this ordinary-looking envelope would soon become the office’s newest source of late-night entertainment. Inside was an old newspaper clipping about a lost cat named Sir Lancelot. Over the next few nights, associates started bringing in more clippings—each one detailing another feline hero's adventures. By dawn, Knight Law P.A. had transformed into a makeshift animal shelter, complete with water bowls and catnip toys. When asked why they didn’t return the packages, everyone just shrugged and said, 'Someone has to look after these poor kitties!'
3. At dawn, a sleepy mailman knocked on Knight Law P.A.’s door, grumbling, ‘This is the third letter today addressed to “Esq. Night”!’ Inside, an old secretary yawned and replied, ‘Oh, that’s just Esq. Night’s latest prank—he signed up for a poetry club under the name “Night Esquire.”’ The mailman shook his head and muttered something about poets being weird before heading back out into the morning sunshine.
4. At dusk, when the city streets quietened down, a familiar figure approached Knight Law P.A.'s entrance. A neighborhood cat had taken it upon himself to patrol the premises, meowing insistently and demanding attention from anyone who passed by. Finally, someone opened the door and, with an exasperated sigh, invited the cat inside. The animal sauntered past the astonished receptionist and made its way into the office of Mr. Knight himself. With a wink to the stunned staff, the cat jumped onto his desk and began purring contentedly, as if it owned the place—because, well, maybe it did.
