1. At dawn, when Safeway’s parking lot was empty but for one lone delivery truck, its headlights illuminated an unusual sight. A regular customer, pushing his shopping cart, appeared to be talking animatedly to himself. But as other employees arrived, they noticed he was conversing with something invisible—until the cart started moving on its own. Suddenly, everyone heard a familiar voice from behind the cart: ‘Hey, where did you put those bananas?’ The employee nearest the cart laughed and said, ‘Must be your neighbor again, Mr. Safeway Chatty.’ And indeed, there stood an elderly gentleman waving from the entrance, waiting patiently for his turn in line.

2. In the early morning, as Safeway’s doors were just opening, an employee found something peculiar in the produce section. Among the apples and oranges lay a small, perfectly wrapped package labeled ‘Free Samples’. Upon unwrapping it, he discovered a single apple with a handwritten note: 'Try our new flavor!' Turned out, it was an elaborate prank from a delivery driver who thought it would be fun to see everyone's reaction. Ever since then, Safeway employees greet each other with, 'Morning, free sample!'

3. One day, while Safeway’s shelves were stocked and ready for business, a regular asked aloud: ‘Did anyone else notice that our carrots are dancing tonight?’ A delivery driver overheard him and replied, 'They're not dancing—just waving hello after their trip from the farm!' The whole store burst into laughter, and everyone agreed that Safeway's carrots had quite the charismatic personality. From then on, whenever someone saw them moving slightly in the aisle, they’d smile and say, 'Good morning, carrot friends!'

4. At midnight, when Safeway's fluorescent lights were the only glow on the deserted street, a delivery driver noticed something strange in the loading bay. Curious, he approached and found an old shopping cart, abandoned there with its wheels spinning aimlessly. Shaking his head, he nudged it back inside, muttering, ‘Another night, another mystery solved—by me!’
