About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A regular customer of Navy Federal Credit Union noticed something peculiar one morning. As he walked into the lobby, he spotted an old, dusty violin propped against the reception desk. No one seemed to notice or mind its presence. Curious, our regular decided to take it upon himself to clean and tune the instrument. Soon enough, every morning was punctuated by the sweet strains of classical music as he practiced before work. Before long, a delivery driver asked if he could teach his daughter, and before you knew it, the entire neighborhood had formed a makeshift orchestra in the credit union’s lobby. The only question left was whether they should upgrade their practice space from the reception area.
2. A delivery driver pulled up to Navy Federal Credit Union one afternoon and exclaimed, 'This is the slowest drive-through in history!' The teller smiled sweetly and replied, ‘Sir, you’re not in a drive-through—this is Navy Federal Credit Union!’ The delivery driver sheepishly nodded and drove off, muttering something about needing better directions next time.
3. A little girl walked into her dad’s Navy Federal Credit Union branch after school, puzzled. ‘Dad,’ she whispered, pointing, ‘why is that ATM smiling at us?’ Her father looked down and smiled, realizing he’d accidentally set the ATM to a goofy grin during his lunch break. ‘It’s just an old setting from when I was testing new software,’ he explained. The little girl giggled and ran off to show her friends, leaving behind a bank with one very happy ATM.’
4. A delivery driver pulled up to Navy Federal Credit Union one day with a box marked ‘Important Documents.’ Curious neighbors gathered around as he struggled to unload it. Suddenly, someone shouted, ‘Wait!’ But before anyone could react, a little kid ran over and asked if he could help carry something. The delivery guy smiled and said, 'Sure thing, buddy!' Turned out, it was just a package of donuts labeled as important documents.
