But every time someone left, another note appeared: 'Next customer, please sit down—your turn will come soon.' Finally, an old delivery driver sat down with a sigh of relief. As he waited, he overheard the stylist whispering into her phone: ‘Just one more customer… then I’m outta here!’ The next morning, our regular found a new sign above the dryer: “Sorry for the inconvenience—we’re now hiring!”
