About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, while waiting for his trim at Isaac’s barbershop, a regular noticed something peculiar on the counter—a small wooden box with no label or markings. Curious, he picked it up and found an old-fashioned comb inside, along with a note scribbled in pencil: ‘For good luck, use once.’ A delivery driver who overheard the story decided to try his luck too. Later that day, as he drove through town, he noticed an unusual amount of traffic. Turns out, everyone else had used Isaac's mysterious comb—and they were all now stuck in line at Isaac's shop, waiting for their turn.
2. While getting his usual cut at Isaac's barbershop, an elderly gentleman dozed off in the chair. Suddenly, he started snoring so loudly that everyone in the shop could hear him—except Isaac himself. Finally, one of Isaac’s customers—a delivery driver—couldn’t take it anymore and gently nudged the sleeping man with his foot. With a startled yelp, the old fellow woke up, blinking groggily around. Everyone burst into laughter, including Isaac who, for once, joined in.
3. While getting his weekly shave at Isaac the Barber, a delivery driver suddenly heard a strange humming noise coming from behind the counter. Curious, he leaned forward and saw Isaac intently focusing on something invisible to everyone else. As the delivery driver watched more closely, he noticed that Isaac was whispering gently into thin air, as if talking to someone unseen. Smiling to himself, Isaac turned around with a satisfied expression, muttering, 'All done, Mr. Johnson.' Turns out, Isaac was just giving his regular customers virtual haircuts from beyond the grave.
4. While getting his haircut at Isaac the Barber, a little boy sitting next to the window started giggling uncontrollably as he pointed outside. When asked what was so funny, he whispered excitedly, ‘Daddy, look! A talking parrot just flew right past!’ The barber looked up curiously and saw nothing but an ordinary bird flying by. Smiling, he leaned over and said softly, ‘Sonny, that’s no talking parrot—just your imagination playing tricks on you.’ But then, glancing back at the empty seat, he chuckled and muttered to himself, ‘Or maybe it’s my imagination that needs trimming!’
