About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. One morning, a delivery driver arrived early with a mysterious package. As he approached the Chase branch, he noticed an old man frantically waving from inside. The driver opened the door cautiously and saw that the old man was holding a bag of donuts. ‘Morning!’ said the man cheerfully. ‘I thought you could use these—Chase is closed on Sundays.’ The delivery guy grinned and shook his head, thinking, ‘Not today, buddy.’
2. One day, an elderly gentleman entered Chase Bank and asked the teller, ‘Do you accept deposits in gold coins?’ The teller replied, ‘Yes, sir.’ To which the man responded, ‘I’d like to deposit one very special coin…’ The teller nodded politely as he placed a small velvet pouch on the counter. With a twinkle in his eye, he said, 'It’s a lucky charm from my granddaughter—she wants it safeguarded.' The teller smiled warmly and added it to the vault with a gentle chuckle, thinking it was just another charming customer story. Later that evening, while recounting tales over coffee, she mentioned, 'Guess what? We got our first ever lucky charm deposit today!'
3. At dawn, when most banks were still locking their doors, a shadowy figure appeared outside Chase Bank. With each passing minute, the sound of violins grew louder until it seemed as if the entire orchestra had taken up residence in the empty lobby. Suddenly, from around the corner came a sleepy delivery driver humming along with the music. He opened the back of his truck and out popped a life-sized violinist puppet, complete with bowing motions. The crowd cheered, realizing it was just an elaborate prank organized by the local Chamber of Commerce. As the sun rose higher, everyone dispersed, whistling a cheerful tune, leaving behind only laughter and a slightly puzzled security guard.
4. At midnight, a curious cat sauntered into Chase Bank's empty lobby, its paws clicking softly on the marble floor. The cat paused, stretched luxuriously, then walked up to the counter and sat down, waiting patiently for someone to open. Just then, a sleepy security guard appeared, blinked groggily, and asked, ‘Can I help you, little fella?’ The cat yawned and replied, ‘Just wanted to make sure everything’s locked up tight.’ They both smiled, and the guard unlocked the door, letting the cat out with a friendly pat on its head. As the clock struck one, the guard whispered to himself, ‘Another night, another mysterious visitor… but who’ll tell the tale of the Chase Bank cat?’
