About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. A few years ago, Carson & Co. Salon became notorious when a regular, carrying a large box under his arm, walked in and asked for an emergency haircut. The stylist raised an eyebrow but agreed. Afterward, everyone noticed something peculiar about his hair—only it wasn’t actually there anymore! The stylist blinked a couple of times, then calmly reached for some clippers. A few minutes later, he emerged with a perfectly shaped bowl cut—just like the one on the old guy down the street who delivered newspapers every morning. Everyone laughed, including the ‘client,’ who paid his bill and left, never to be seen again. Since then, Carson & Co. has been known as the place where you can get any hairstyle, no questions asked.
2. In Carson & Co. Salon, a regular once exclaimed, ‘I feel like I’m in a movie!’ And indeed he was—except it wasn’t Hollywood. The stylist had accidentally played an old TV theme song while cutting his hair. The man looked around puzzled, then smiled sheepishly as everyone burst into laughter. Turns out, Carson had been humming along to an old sitcom from the 80s without realizing it.
3. A delivery driver arrived at Carson & Co. Salon one morning with an unusual package. As he opened the door, a strong scent of freshly baked cookies wafted through the air. Curious, he followed the smell into the salon and found Carson busy cutting hair while humming a tune. On her desk sat a small plate with warm cookies—obviously meant for her clients. ‘Morning!’ she greeted him cheerfully. ‘These are for you.’ The delivery driver looked down at the cookies, then up at Carson, who winked mischievously. ‘They’re my secret weapon,’ she confessed. ‘Keeps everyone happy.’
4. A customer asked Carson & Co. Salon staff, ‘Do you ever get customers who leave their pets here?’ ‘Not really,’ replied one stylist with a smile. ‘But once, a delivery driver left his pet parrot here—said it was his “special assistant.” The bird kept chirping orders for hours until our manager finally had to ask him to go!’
