2. A neighbor stopped by one afternoon with an armload of freshly baked cookies. As she approached the door, she noticed something odd—one of the law firm’s windows seemed to blink on and off like a mischievous little lightbulb. Curious, our neighbor knocked gently. The lights flickered again, and suddenly the door opened with a creak.
