About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. In the dimly lit hallway of Earl, Warburton & Adams, a regular asked one night: ‘Do you think lawyers ever argue over who gets the best coffee?’ An older delivery driver overheard and chuckled, replying, 'No, sonny, they argue over whose client wins the biggest settlement.' A nearby neighbor nodded wisely, adding, 'And when that fails, they fight over whose coffee maker is better!' And so, in the dimly-lit hallway, the legend was born.
2. In the quietest corner of Earl, Warburton & Adams' waiting room, an elderly gentleman dozed off in his chair. Suddenly, every time he stirred, the ceiling fan would inexplicably slow down and hover above him, as if guarding his slumber. Just then, a young delivery driver entered the room, adjusting his cap. The fan suddenly picked up speed, almost tickling his nose. Startled, he exclaimed, ‘What’s with this thing? It follows everyone!’ The old man snorted awake, grinned, and whispered, ‘Welcome to Earl, Warburton & Adams’ secret courtroom fan.’
3. In the dusty archives of Earl, Warburton & Adams, a curious child found an old typewriter that never stopped clattering when no one was near. One day, a delivery driver heard the noise and opened the door just in time to see an envelope flying through the air. It landed on his head with a thud, scribbled note still flapping: ‘To Whom It May Concern—Please deliver this urgent document…now!’
4. A small dog, trotting past Earl, Warburton & Adams’ entrance, suddenly froze mid-step. Its nose twitched as it sniffed something invisible in the air. The dog’s ears perked up, and its tail wagged excitedly—it seemed to be following some scent only it could detect. Suddenly, a delivery driver walked by, carrying a box of freshly baked cookies. The dog’s eyes lit up, and it bolted towards him, ignoring the lawyers entirely. ‘What a funny little fellow,’ remarked one of the partners, watching with amusement as the canine disappeared into the elevator, cookie aroma leading the way.
