About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when Anderson & Boback’s lights were dimmed and the streets quieted down, a mysterious voice began echoing over the building’s intercom. ‘Mr. Smith, your briefcase is here,’ it would say, followed by an ominous pause. No one knew who Mr. Smith was or why his briefcase kept appearing out of thin air. One day, a delivery driver arrived with a package labeled simply ‘To: Mr. Smith’. After several days of this, an old neighbor joked, ‘Maybe they’re delivering briefcases for time travelers!’ Soon enough, everyone in town started bringing their own old briefcases just to see if theirs might show up too. The firm eventually installed a sign reading, “For Mr. Smith Only—All Others Please Wait.” And so, every evening, the city awaited Mr. Smith’s mysterious deliveries with a smile.
2. At dawn, when most law offices are still locked tight, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar outside Anderson & Boback's window. Curious, he peered closer and saw two figures in suits, frantically rearranging papers on their desk. One turned around, smiled sheepishly and said, ‘Morning, Joe! Just doing some… uh, paperwork.’ The story ended there, but from then on, whenever anyone asked, the delivery driver would wink and say, ‘Oh yeah, I deliver to ghost lawyers every day!’
3. At dusk, when shadows lengthened across Main Street, a delivery driver noticed an odd humming coming from inside Anderson & Boback's empty office building. Curious, he peered through the window and saw two silhouettes whispering intently behind closed doors. The next morning, everyone in town knew that Anderson and Boback were negotiating with ghosts over a particularly tricky case.
4. At lunchtime, when Anderson & Boback's doors opened wide, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar in their mailroom. Curious, he peeked inside and found an old, dusty briefcase wrapped in brown paper. Inside was a single letter addressed to ‘To Whom It May Concern’ with no return address. The delivery driver laughed, thinking it must be some kind of prank. Later that day, while showing his discovery to a colleague, they both realized it looked like a blueprint for a new office layout.’
