Inside sat an old man in a suit, reading the newspaper and sipping coffee from a thermos. ‘Morning,’ he said without looking up. ‘Just checking my office is still here.’ The jogger laughed and waved goodbye as the door clicked shut once more. From that day on, everyone knew the eccentric lawyer who came to work early—bringing his own breakfast—and never missed those magical three seconds.
4.
