About this location
A few stories people tell about this place
1. At night, when the FedEx lights dimmed and most people went home, a strange voice began echoing over the intercom: ‘Package for Mr. Nobody, please sign here.’ No one ever claimed it. One day, an old delivery driver joked, ‘Maybe I should claim it myself as “Mr. Nobody”!’ Suddenly, the intercom crackled again: ‘Package for Ms. Everybody, please sign here.’ Everyone burst out laughing, realizing that sometimes life delivers packages addressed to no one—and everyone.
2. One morning, a delivery driver noticed something odd. Every day at exactly 9:15 AM, an old man appeared from nowhere, walked straight into the FedEx lobby, and asked for ‘the package that never arrives.’ Curious but cautious, the driver pretended not to notice. One week later, the same routine continued—old man, exact time, same request. Finally, the driver couldn’t hold back: 'Sir, I’ve seen you here every Monday for months now. Is there a package you're waiting for?' The old man smiled and replied, 'Yes, young man—it’s my weekly surprise for Mrs. Johnson next door!'
3. At dawn, when the FedEx parking lot was emptying out, a delivery driver noticed something peculiar on one of the loading docks. Among boxes and packages lay an old, dusty ukulele, its strings slightly out of tune but clearly waiting for someone's hands. Curious, he picked it up and strummed a few notes—much to his surprise, the ukulele sang along with him. Word spread quickly among the drivers, who started bringing their own instruments from home. Soon enough, every morning at sunrise, you could hear harmonies echoing through the empty halls of FedEx, as employees gathered around sharing songs and laughter. It became known as ‘the Dockside Serenade,’ and even the most gruff neighbors hummed along.
4. At dusk, when the FedEx Ship Center doors closed for the night, an employee whispered, ‘I think I saw a ghostly figure in the loading bay.’ Curious, another worker decided to check it out. They found nothing but a stray cat sleeping on a pallet. The next day, everyone laughed and named the cat ‘Ghost Delivery’. Ever since then, whenever anyone sees something strange, they just say, ‘Probably Ghost Delivery again.’
